Who we are

Soda is operated by 21 Sierra, based in Melbourne, Australia. We run joinsoda.co, a platform for curated in-person social events. You can contact us at hello@joinsoda.co.

What we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address and optionally your city. When you create an account, we collect your name, email, date of birth, gender, and any profile information you choose to provide. When you book events, we store booking and payment records.

How we use it

We use your information to operate the platform, match you to events and other attendees, send you event confirmations and reminders, and notify you of matches after events. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate Soda: Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional email, and our hosting provider for infrastructure. Each is bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@joinsoda.co.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. If you are based in Australia, you are protected by the Australian Privacy Act 1988. If you are based in the EU or UK, you are protected by GDPR. Contact us at hello@joinsoda.co to exercise any of these rights.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
